Misconception 1 : Deoiler Hydrocyclone Liners are all the same
Correction 1 : Deoiler Hydrocyclones are not all the same.
There are significant variations in commercial Deoiler hydrocyclone products available, differing by ‘generational’ invention era (1980’s, 1990’s and 2000’s), and vendor experience.
Each liner varies by geometry; differing Inlet, Cone, and Tailpipe – Size, Shape / Profile, and all these variations can have a dramatic effect on performance.
This leads to a significant variation in the client experience with the technology.
There’s a number of good products and vendors available, and then there are ‘others’. Know what you’re buying.
