Dewatering Filter-Bag (B-FSM-160)

The dewatering filter-bag is designed to provide combined dewatering and storage for transport. It is specifically engineered for compact sand dewatering, and can be used in open or closed system for the final dewatering step. The bag, being installed in an open frame system, is shown in the graphic below.

Design details include;

  • Maximum holding weight: 2000 kg
  • Holding volume: 0.5 m³
  • Empty weight: 3 kg
  • Lifting and inversion straps
  • Maximum operating temperature: 90°C
  • Operating pressure: atmospheric
  • Polymer material: oleophobic, hydrophobic, and halophobic
    • Degraded by UV, concentrated hot acids, and toluene
  • Triple weave, rapid-weep design
  • Hydraulic flux: 2400 lpm/m² – 15 minutes drain time
  • Retains particles at 15-30 microns pending PSD of incoming slurry
  • Washable and reusable
